Let's say you have multiple children playing on the same team, or perhaps you are a coach on your child's team - wouldn't it be great to have separate profiles for each person, but still use the same RosterBot account?
We thought so too!
And, you can now have multiple user profiles on the same team, complete with different names, profile photos, positions and Full-time or Spare distinctions.
Creating Multiple User Profiles On The Same Team
You will need to ask your manager to add your email address to the team once for every profile you would like to have on the team.
For example, if you are a parent coaching your child on the same team, your manager will need to add your email address twice to the team. This will create multiple profiles, which initially will look identical.
Customizing Each Profile
RosterBot will create the profile for your team based on your RosterBot Profile (this is the profile information you input when originally signing up for RosterBot).
To customize each profile for this team, head to the Players page for this team.
Next, select the 'Edit' button on either of your Player Profile boxes. From here you can update any information you like, player name, profile photo, positions, Full-time or Spare status, etc. Once you've updated this profile, be sure to click 'Save'.
RSVPing for Multiple User Profiles
Now, as you have control over multiple profiles, you can provide different RSVP statuses for each player. So if you are the coach and won't be attending a practice, you can tell the team, but allow them to know that your child will still be there. Pretty helpful!
