Keep up-to-date with your team’s schedule on your computer’s calendar by subscribing to your team’s schedule through RosterBot.
Even if you don’t subscribe to your team’s calendar, RosterBot will still be letting you know when your games are. But since many people are lost without their calendars on the computer and phone, lets make sure you’ve got your games on there!
Login to RosterBot
When you login to RosterBot, the first thing you will see is your personal Home Page. This page lists which teams you are a member of on the right and your upcoming events on the left.
Subscribe to Calendar
You will find a Subscribe drop-down menu on the top left, by clicking the 'Subscribe' button above your upcoming events. This will then show you an option to subscribe to 'All Teams' or you can just select a specific team from the drop-down menu
Clicking the 'Subscribe' button at the bottom of the window will let RosterBot attempt to automatically synchronize with your device's default calendar program. If your default calendar program is able to open and synchronize your calendar, this is a very easy process. However, calendars may not always interact smoothly, so you may need to copy and manually input your WebCal URL into your Calendar program, as shown below.
Copy WebCal URL and Add to Calendar
Click ‘Launch Application’ and your default calendar system will open.
Calendar (Apple) users:
You will see a screen like this:
Click ‘Subscribe’ and your RosterBot team’s calendar will now be automatically updated within your computer’s calendar.
Outlook (PC) users:
For our PC users, you will first need to copy the webcal URL which looks something like this:(ex.webcal://rosterbot.com/teams/ZjVlMzAzOTJlMWYxYzQ2MThhOWVjYzQ5NzgzM2ZjZTk/ical.)
Login to your Outlook account and select the Calendar.
You will want to find the ‘Subscribe’ button at the top of the screen:
– Select Subscribe on the left side.
– Paste in the webcal URL which we copied earlier into the Calendar URL box (see below).
Click Subscribe and you will now have your RosterBot schedule included in your Outlook calendar.
