RosterBot Pro teams are able to use the Statistics feature to create, log and track as many statistical categories as they like conveniently through both the iOS and Android RosterBot app.
First, a manager must create the categories of statistics your team would like to record at both a team and player level.
Begin setting your team's stat categories by selecting the 'Statistics' tab on the navigation bar.
Next, tap the 'Actions' button and select 'Edit Team Stat Categories'
From here you can create the types of statistics your team would like to track. Commonly used statistics for teams are Wins, Losses, Ties & Overtime Losses and these are pre-populated into the feature. If you would like to track other statistics, or create your own, select 'Other' and then set the name, abbreviation and the type of stat this is (either a total or an average of all your events).
Now that you have created your Statistical Categories, you can then begin recording your team's statistics.
Like Team Categories, you must first create the type of statistical category you would like to keep track of for your team. Common categories would be Goals, Assists, Points, Penalties/Fouls, etc.
To create your Player Categories, following the same process as Team Categories, you will need to tap the 'Actions' button and select 'Edit Player Stat Categories'
Next, begin creating the type of statistics your team's players would like to keep track of. Input the name of the stat, it's abbreviation, whether this is a total or average based stat, and finally which positions this stat can be applied to.
Once you have created all the Player Statistic Categories, it's time to record your player's stats.
To record Statistics for your team, you enter them through the Statistics Tab by tapping the 'Actions' button and selecting with "Edit Player Statistics" or "Edit Team Statistics".
Simply choose which statistic you want to update and fill in the required info, and you're set!
You can also enter the relevant data in your Post Game Reports, just scroll down past the event summary and select which category you want to enter from the drop down menus.
This is what your Statistics tab should look like once you have entered all of your team's data
Individual player Stats can also be found in your team's roster under Player details
